Excellent Sharpening Stone!
By Jeff E on November 30, 2020
"This is a really excellent sharpening stone. The included angle guide is a game-changer. By far the most difficult part about sharpening knives is keeping the angle consistent, and this little thing makes it dead simple. I got one of these for my mom, who had never sharpened a knife in her life. After spending about 5 minutes with it, she was up and running. We took one of these completely dull knives and worked it with this stone and the difference was abundantly clear to everyone. It was once again an actual knife that could cut vegetables with ease."
Good, Effective Product at a Fair Price

"I give Sharp Pebble a top rating for two reasons. First, the company emailed a user guide for me to review and learn how to best use its product while it was being shipped to me. Wonderfully proactive. Second, the sharpening stone did a terrific job restoring the edge on my kitchen knives that had been woefully neglected. Now, the knives are cutting beautifully. The base does a great job of holding the stone in place and is attractive in the kitchen."
This is perfect for people that are not pros but need sharper kitchen knives
By Deborah O on December 27, 2017
"This is perfect for people that are not pros but need sharper knives. I decided to give my knives once last shot before tossing them. The stone worked perfectly to restore the blades to their original quality. The 1000/6000 stone is a great entry-level stone to sharpen. For anyone just using the blades for food prep, the 1k/6k stone will be sufficient. The base is perfect and does not slide along my granite countertops. The angle guide slides well."

"I think it works pretty good as long as you follow instructions! Less than an hour I was able to sharpen all these knifes!"

"I am no expert when it comes to mastering the art of knife sharpening but my was attempt was happy with the results. Even with my large cleaver, I was able to slice paper with ease. With more practice, I will be more confident to try it on my expensive knives. The crap knife in the picture was very dull. It won't even cut my skin but after sharpening, it too easily slices paper."
A Must-Have for a great set of knives
By Eugene on July 10, 2018
"Excellent sharpening stone! Forget the electric sharpeners or taking your knives to a sharpening service, this is the way! That's the way my grandpa used to do and his knives were always sharp. Don't just let them dull with time, this stone will make them as sharp as the day you bought them. It has a rougher and a finer surface and a very nice solid base to keep the stone in place while you're sharpening your knife. I did not use the enclosed attachment for the proper angle and did a good work of getting a razor-like edge, but the attachment guide does look very useful. Long story short, if you have a nice set of knives (I have Gunther Wilhelm), this sharpening stone is a must-have if you want to keep your knives in a great sharp condition."
This is the only sharpening system you will ever need for truly razor-sharp knives!
By Ian on November 21, 2018
"Received the stone yesterday, soaked it for about 30 minutes, turned the stone a few times to make sure it was thoroughly soaked. Brought out some old restaurant supply kitchen knives that none of my 4 systems could truly sharpen (electric sharpener, a quick sharpener with crossed carbide and ceramics, a 3 side stone that rotates, and a cheaper version of clamp the knife and swing the sharpening stone at an angle across the blade systems). I had given up, resigning myself as totally incompetent at sharpening knives. So I busted out the old knives and got to work. in maybe 5 minutes that old chef knife was incredibly sharp - certainly sharper than I could ever remember. By way of excitement and the need to eat supper, I pooched up some chicken thighs and made 2 slits to the bone in the meat so the marinade could get deep into the thigh. Sliced like butter. OK, I hear you bruh, that's not much of a test - but a knife that sharp makes food prep fun. All those paring, deboning, santoku and 3 main chef knives are honed and ready..."
